All dogs start with a Group Tryout
Before joining daycare, every dog (and owner) participates in a tryout so we can evaluate behavior, temperament, and group fit. This ensures a safe, structured environment for every dog in our care.
Our Social Programs
Our R.E.P.S. program and Stay & Play Boarding are open to dogs who meet the following criteria. If dogs are unable to meet these requirements, we suggest joining one of our group training classes, which will help your dog be more successful in any environment.
Active Learner
Our dogs remain active in our training programs as needed. When there is a lapse in behavior, a refresher is all it takes!
Communicates Well with Others
Dog communication is a two-way street! Being polite to other dogs, respecting boundaries, and responding appropriately is a must for safe group play.
Uses Their Listening Ears
The ability to stop and listen to trainer cues is what keeps our environment safe and fun for all dogs involved.
Shares with Friends
Toys are more fun when we share them with our friends! We aim to manage and monitor resource guarding behaviors to avoid conflict. Dogs who can share their toys acclimate best to our program.
Has an “Alone Zone”
We have a naptime every day so our dogs can rest up for a fun afternoon. It’s important that the dogs can settle by themselves and remain calm so as not to disturb their napping neighbors.
Impulse Control
R.E.P.S. ready dogs know not to jump on, nip, or charge at trainers. Even when excited, they’re on their best behavior!
Sociability
Being able to play well with others means being able to make friends in any group! When their best buddy is absent, they still have lots of fun with different friends.
