Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for dependable, hardworking professionals who want a career in the animal industry. Previous professional experience with dogs, whether in a kennel, boarding facility, training facility, veterinary clinic, shelter, or similar setting, is strongly preferred. But more important than experience is character.

Reliability, punctuality, and communication are essential. The dogs rely on us every single day, regardless of the weather or the day of the week.
The Role: Lodge Technician (Kennel Technician)
We are currently hiring for a full-time Lodge Technician position.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise dogs in off-leash playgroups
- Read and respond to canine body language
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized facility
- Feed and medicate dogs according to detailed instructions
- Assist with grooming services such as baths and nail trims
- Work closely with teammates to deliver an exceptional experience for every dog and owner
This is an active, outdoor position. The dogs need care no matter the weather, so our team works outside year-round through the Texas heat, rain, cold, and the occasional ice. You’ll spend much of the day walking our 10-acre property, on your feet, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Caring for dogs also means scooping poop, cleaning up accidents, disinfecting kennels and play yards, and keeping the facility spotless. It’s all part of providing excellent care.
Schedule & Requirements
Our full-time Lodge Tech schedule varies based on the needs of the dogs and the team. Shifts are generally 6:45 AM–12:45 PM and/or 2:00 PM–7:30 PM. Some days you’ll work one shift; other days you’ll work both. Morning shifts begin promptly at 6:45 AM, and team members are expected to arrive on time and ready to work. If that schedule isn’t a good fit, please don’t apply.
Requirements:
- Previous professional dog-handling experience strongly preferred
- Availability of 32–40 hours per week
- Availability for mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule
- Reliable transportation
- At least 18 years of age
- Dependable, punctual, and professional communicator
- Able to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physically demanding work throughout the day
Compensation & Benefits

Growth Starts with Training
We invest heavily in every new team member. Our Level 1 training program takes approximately 90 days, and we’re looking for people who are available year-round and excited to grow with us long-term. This role is not a fit for anyone seeking temporary, seasonal, or summer-only work, or anyone planning to leave for college or relocate within the next few months.
